    CALL FOR EXPRESSION OF INTEREST FOR MITIGATION OF COVID-19 CRISIS IMPACTS ON MSMES IN THE METAL AND MECHANICAL INDUSTRY

    Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH, within the framework of the EU4BusinessRecovery project publishes the Call for Expression of Interest for Mitigation of COVID-19 Crisis Impacts on MSMEs in the Metal and Mechanical Industry („Call“). The indicative grant fund amount made available under this Call is up to EUR 1,000,000 (BAM 1,955,830). The support package for MSMEs in the metal sector consists of advisory services (technical assistance) and investment support (grant funding). Local business development experts will be engaged by the Contracting Authority to develop business continuity plans which help MSMEs identify measures for improvement, while investment incentives (grant funding) allow them to finance the implementation of those measures. In line with the above, grants will be awarded to the selected MSMEs to finance advisory services and implementation support identified in the Business continuity plans needed for: 1. Reorganization of the supply chain and product innovations; 2. Diversification of the client base through access to new markets. Eligible and interested MSMEs are invited to submit their Expressions of Interest no later than 31.1.2022 at 16:00 hrs. Expressions of Interest in response to this Call must be submitted in accordance with the Guidelines for Applicants, available at: www.eu4business.core-enigma.com. The EU4BusinessRecovery project is jointly co-financed by the European Union and German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development and implemented by Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH, UNDP and ILO. The overall duration is 30 months, from 01.01.2021 to 06.30.2023.

    CALL FOR PROPOSALS FOR FOR IMPROVEMENT OF MSMES’ INNOVATIVE CAPACITIES IN IN EXPORT - ORIENTED SECTORS

    Grant fund worth EUR 1,5 million is available within EU4Business for projects that increase the competitiveness of micro, small and medium-sized enterprises (MSMEs) through innovation: - development of products/services through new approaches - in pre-production, production and post-production. Beneficiaries are MSMEs and entrepreneurs. The results will be measured in new jobs, with focus on women and youth, increased export and increased number of innovations among the targeted MSMEs. Project ideas of the applicants must relate to the metal and mechanical industry or wood processing sector. MSMEs registered in the Plastic and Electric sectors are eligible if they implement projects in the metal and mechanical industry. MSMEs registered in the sector of information and communication technologies can also apply if they implement projects in the targeted manufacturing sectors. Applicants within this Call can be legal entities from BIH belonging to the category of MSMEs. Financial grants are up to EUR 100.000 per project. All qualified parties are invited to submit their applications, including the supporting documentation, by no later than Monday, 03.02.2020, at 16:00 hrs.

    Within the framework of the joint project of the European Union and the German Government - EU4Business (Implementation of the IPA 2016 Support in the Sector of Competitiveness and Innovation - Action “Local Development Strategies”, Local Self-Government and Economic Development Programme in Bosnia and Herzegovina), Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH publishes Call for Proposals for Partnerships in Export- oriented Sectors. Purpose of this Call for Proposals is to improve the competitiveness of BIH export-oriented sectors and EUR 3 million in grants is available within the EU4Business project to export partnerships. These funds will support projects which foster: innovation, cooperation, digitalisation and improvement of business environment.

    Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH, within the framework of the EU4Business Project publishes the Call for Proposals for partnerships in tourism. The fund for tourism worth EUR 1.5 million is available via grants for partnerships dealing with the development of tourist products, access to international markets and utilisation of information and communications technology (ICT). All activities financed by these funds shall have effects in the following two funding priorities: 1) Cultural Tourism related to UNESCO Heritage proclaimed sites 2) Outdoor Tourism along Via Dinarica Green Trail. Qualified and interested parties are invited to submit their Concept Notes by no later than Monday, 01.07.2019 at 16:00 hrs. Proposals in response to this Call must be submitted in accordance with the Guidelines for Applicants, which can be downloaded at: www.eu4business.ba The European Union’s EU4Business project strengthens BiH capacity for generating growth and employment through development of competitiveness and innovation in selected sectors. Overall, EUR 10 million is available in grants. The project is jointly funded by the European Union (EUR 15 million) and the Federal Republic of Germany (EUR 1.1 million). The project is jointly implemented by GIZ, ILO and UNDP, between April 2018 and March 2022.
